NEW ADVENTURE!
AUGUST 2025
It’s been a LONG while since I’ve updated things here on the site. After two very interesting years in public education teaching band and chorus, I’m excited to go full-tilt back into the world of percussion. After a lot of prayer, discussion with mentors and family, and struggle, I decided to resume my doctoral studies in percussion performance! I started my DMA at West Virginia University, but paused my studies for a variety of reasons. After much ado, I am getting back in the game. I was blessed by an offer of a graduate assistantship at the University of Florida, and will be working for the percussion department while completing my doctoral studies. I’m excited for the adventures, opportunities, and collaborations this new chapter will bring. I also revamped my socials, so check out the links below! God Bless!
new Chapter - J-Ville
august 2023
New town, new gig, new challenges. I’m excited to announce that I have recently been appointed as the new Director of Music Studies at the historic Stanton College Preparatory School in Jacksonville, FL. The school has a rich history and tradition in academics, and I hope to bring the same thing to the music program. I’m doing all things music: Band Director, Choir Director, Percussion Instructor, AP/IB instructor, and whatever else comes up musically. We have a long way to go to bring a new culture of excellence to the music department. Here we go!
